When it comes to playing poker on the iPhone or iPad, the best place to live is the United Kingdom. PokerStars, 888, PKR and Bwin have all had their respective apps approved in the UK Apple App Store first. Poker players in other countries typically have to wait a few months before they can enjoy Texas Hold'em or Omaha ring-games, Sit & Go’s (SNG) and multi-table tournaments (MTT) on their iOS devices. We endeavour to bring our readers informed reviews and news on the latest real-money poker apps.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I play real-money poker on my iPhone or iPad in the United States of America?
The bad news is right now you can't but there is light at the end of the tunnel. Until online poker is made legal in the United States, Apple refuse to allow real money apps into the U.S. App Store. The good news is Carbon Poker will soon be releasing a browser based poker app that will be compatible with iOS, Android, Windows Phone and Blackberry smartphones and tablets. Carbon Poker are one of the few online poker rooms that still welcome players from the United States. No date has been set for the launch of the new U.S. cash game mobile client, but it is expected to be available in the Summer of 2013. Why can't I find the poker apps listed on your website when I search in the App Store?
There are two possible answers to this question. 1) The app you are looking for may be web based so it won't be listed in the App Store. To make apps as widely available as possible, many developers have chosen to develop web apps that can be played from any browser, regardless of whether you are using an iPhone, a Samsung Galaxy, a Blackberry 10 or a Nokia Lumia. 2) Every country has its own App Store. The App Store in the United Kingdom is slightly different to the one in the United States, Ireland, Australia or Canada. Internet gambling has to be legal in a country before Apple will approve poker, casino or sports betting apps in that country's App Store.
